Shri Ravi Shankar, General Manager of Bank of India, has been appointed as an Independent Director of the company w.e.f. 25.11.2025. A distinguished banking professional with over 26 years of excellence, Shri Ravi Shankar has built a reputation as a dynamic leader, blending deep operational expertise with a strong strategic vision. His career spans a wide spectrum of Indian and international banking, including mission-critical roles in branch leadership, administrative operations in India as well Overseas. Currently, Shri Ravi Shankar is at the forefront of Bank of India’s technology journey, leading the Digital Lending Department and spearheading the digitalisation of the Bank’s asset portfolio as General Manager-Digital Lending Department. He holds a Graduate degree in Science and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
